As a competitor I started racing motocross in 1979 and still ride weekly. I earned one Canadian Amateur Motocross title and also road raced for a couple of years. I began organizing events in 1984 and became involved in the administration of the sport in 1988 serving as a CMA Region Chairman, National Director and National President. In 1987 I assisted Canadian team rider Glen Nicholson at the Motocross des Nations in Unadilla and have continued to support the international events however I can.

Dawn McClintock

Dawn is a graphic designer by trade. She grew up in rural southwestern Ontario spending summers riding her dirt bike on the trails that backed on to her parent's property.  She entered the current motocross scene as the first employee at Racer X Canada and found herself renewing the love she once had for the sport. As the Art Director at RXC, she was responsible for designing the majority of editorial content and some covers as well as assisting Racer X Illustrated with some of their overflow work. The job didn't end there though. As a team, the RXC crew took turns sharing the task of running the booth at races. This is where the connections were really made with the motocross community and lasting friendships happened. In 2006, Dawn was given the opportunity to cover the Motocross des Nations race in England for RXC and she has been hooked ever since. After the demise of Racer X Canada, some core members of the team went on to create DMX (Direct Motocross) and Dawn's role goes well beyond just the design. Realizing they had a solid vehicle to help promote Team Canada MX, DMX offered to start a 'Chip In' fund where people could donate to the team on the website and also helped sell t-shirts at some races. Dawn is geared up to tackle more fundraising and hopes this is just the beginning of a great relationship.
